Cotton Stalk Acrylic Art Block

Cotton is a Mississippi Delta staple.  Even though my husband's family hasn't produced cotton since the 70's, his grandmother would plant a few plants each year in her garden.  Greenwood, Mississippi was once the cotton capital of the world.  I remember jumping cotton stalks in the field next to my great grandmother's house in Yazoo County when I was little.  I wanted to create a piece of art that brought back sweet memories of growing up around cotton.

All of our Acrylic Block Art is 0.75" thick so that it can easily stand on it's own on a shelf, desk, or counter.  The average size of each block is approximately 6" across.
